∙ 11y agoHe rules the colonies and holds them under his grasp. He also taxes the colonies heavily such as sugar and tea. This was because George III had to fight the French off the Americas in the French and Indian War. The colonies don't like this and rebels against him. His grasp wasn't strong because most of the news he got was 6 months old and couldn't plan anything accurately.

have monarchy for himself. The Duke of Portland's administration resigned and on 19th December, 1783, the king invited his former critic, William Pitt, to form a new government. George now used all the powers at his disposal to help Pitt maintain control of Parliament. This made the king unpopular with the Whigs, a group who favoured a reduction in the powers of the monarchy. Well all i can say is he HAS DONE WRONG....
