Egyptians traveled by many different ways in which we still use today. They used boats to travel down the Nile river mainly for purposes of trade and other forms of commerce. Of course one had the cheapest way of transportation-that is by foot. They also used their animals like horses for transportation it was not uncommon to see people riding on the back of a mule or some other form of livestock to get from place to place when they couldn't use a boat. Boats were for more of the elite and wealthy of society though. Livestock and animal use of transportation was for the poor in society meaning the farmers and craftsperons. They also used cartherages pulled by hourses during trading.
(More simple way..)
They traded on, boats (only wealthy people),Animals (ex:horses...etc... only for farmers), If not a farmer and not wealthy, they walked.
In Kush, they used camels, but before that they traveled on the seas.
they travel by boat
Egyptians pioneered the development of river craft and there were many different types built for various uses. Agricultural produce, troops, cattle, stone and funeral processions were all carried on the Nile and its canals. These boats were made of bundles of bound papyrus reeds. Papyrus is different from paper because papyrus is a laminated material made from thinly cut strips from the stalk of Cyprus Papyrus plant. It was believed to be first used about 4000 B.C., and became Egypt's major exports.
There were many types of boats that Egyptians used. Papyrus boats were used by Egyptians. Papyrus boats were built with bundles of papyrus. They were steered with oars. Sailboats were used a lot by Egyptians. Sailboats were steered by two oars. Sailboats usually only had one square sail. Funeral boats carried dead people down river. They were used to carry the dead across the Nile River. The funeral boats were very elaborate.
The earliest record of a ship under sail is depicted on an Egyptian pot dating back to 3200BC. These Egyptian boats were made of either native woods or conifers from Lebanon. Papyrus boats were useful for hunting or crossing short stretches of water, using a paddle or a pole. These boats were made of bundles of bound papyrus reeds, and were lashed together into a long thin hull form in the style of a slight crescent. This lifted the ends out of the water. The bundle was made as wide as possible for stability, and an extra bundle was put on top so that the cargo and crew were kept reasonable dry.And to travel for trade and to transportate animals

Traveling With Others
instead of building great roads like the Romans, the Egyptians made use f the Nile river. to travel north, they let sails down and let the current carry them. to travel south, they raised sails and followed the trade winds.
The plains Indians would use horses to hunt buffalo. It was much easier to catch up with the buffalo herd when you could run just as fast. They also used horses to travel long distances.
The Egyptians didn't use camels they feared them and the camel lived in the desert & the egyptians feared the desert aswell
