First the person had to be mummified. then they would travel, dodging traps and defeating seven monsters guarding gates. then their heart will be weighed against a feather to see if it was heavy with sin. if it was lighter, they would go to the afterlife with Osiris. if the forty two judges along with Osiris say It is heavy, it will be eaten by a monster that is a mix between a crocodile, hippopotamus and lion.
