Fever itself can give you a headache, but that may also be a symptom and indication of the source of the infection, for example a simple sinus infection...or at the other extreme, meningitis. Back pain can be another clue to the site of the infection, a pelvic infection in women, kidney infection, or other urinary system infections are a few examples. A doctor will need to determine if all the symptoms are from the same condition, a related condition, or if there is more than one problem. Be sure that you keep yourself well-hydrated, especially if perspiring from the fever, this is important to your kidney health during infections.
