Snails are scavengers and will eat most anything at the bottom of the tank, or even algae on the sides. A piece of lettuce will never fail, shrimp pellets, fish flakes, cucumber or zucchini slice and much more.I find that very interesting.
Small water snakes prey primarily on small fish, such as minnows.
Raccoons would be the most common along with opossums and some birds, alligators, bullfrogs, etc.
water snakes of course

Yes, snails will overpopulate a pond if you let them. It will take a while, but they might. You can bye fish that eat snails, if you want them.

i think so
Yes, most pond snails eat elodea, or anachris. However, it usually depends on the species of snail. Land snails do not eat it, and most aquatic ones do.
They eat the algae all around the pond.
I would say it is a herbivore, because they would probably eat the algae in the pond, but some might be carnivores or omnivores, so your best bet is to just look online.
because land snails normally stay on land and pond snails stay in the water
Do you mean how long will they live together? As long as the fish doesnβt eat the snails, they can coexist peacefully.
No, snails are not producers. They do not make their own food.
