What do people do for Halloween?

At Halloween, children dress in costumes and dress up as their favorite Halloween character and go to door to door "trick or treating"

Most people give candy (the treat) to who ever come door to door but who don't, get pranked on (the trick).

Adults decorate their house to make it look spooky to celebrate Halloween by hanging skeletons, carving pumpkins and more.

Some teen celebrate Halloween by having a Halloween party or visiting scary attractions or telling scary stories.

Well most children go trick or treating but if you want to stay at home then here are a few ideas you can do at home.

apple bobbing- just fill a big bowl with water and put a few apples in. You have to dunk you head in a try and get the apples out with your teeth.treasure hunt- Put different clues round the house and the children have to answer the clues to find the next clue. The last clue should lead to the treasure. you can use sweets as the prize.Pin the tail on the cat- the same as pin the tail on the donkey but with a different animal. You can draw a big cat on some big card and make a tail. If you don't know how to play it then read. Its quite simple, the person gets blinded (tie a scaf round the person eyes) then spun round for a few seconds (10 at the most) then they have to pin the tail where they think it should go. The nearest to where it should be gets a prize.
