My Action Replay works and the game shows up but when I press Start game it says insert action replay and then it saves then it says insert game cart what the heck?
first you choose your codes, then the action replay saves them on your ds (short term only) then you put the game back in to play the game :)

I can use my action replay with any of my game cartridges and my r4 card also works by itself but when I try to use the r4 cart with the action replay it says insert game cart?
You can not use R4 with AR. For AR codes with R4/TTDS, you need to find the cheat code editor on the R4 main website. Then follow the instructions there.

You hold the action replay card in your ds (Until it says to insert game card)and turn it on and then it will say insert game card and then you insert game card
