to be perfectly honest there isn't much you really can do. You will have to lay it down straight and tell him the reason for the break up. tell him it would be better not to be together than for you not to love him because it would be playing him. obviously he still has feelings but this is a common thing and happens quite often. the most important thing is that you don't lower his self confidence and that you make him feel good about himself. for example tell him that your not the perfect person for him and that the perfect person is out there somewhere. When he says no theres not try to make him feel better because even though you don't like him, you can still be a good friend.<3
