If you have another bird in the cage, whether male or female, you should remove the other from the cage permanently, unless you are breeding them. In which case you would removed any other males from the cage.
It's a dominance thing, not a sex act. If they keep at it you may have to split the birds apart.
You cannot. A female cockatiel needs a male cockatiel to mate with her before she will produce fertile eggs. And incidentally, birds do not "fall pregnant".
no.
remove her from the cage then remove egg
Well, they tried to anyhow. Probably. That's how they do it. if the male jumps on the females back they were trying but they got interupted by someone walking past them or coming to their cage.
the tazmanian devil they do not let the female get out of the there home when she tries the male attacks her to get in the hole this happens after and when mating
This is usually a good sign which means it is happy and content. It can also be singing to another bird which it has chosen for a mate or singing for your attention and approval.
No the cockatiel should not be seperated from his or her mate after eggs have been laid. This should only occur if the male is aggressive to live and viable eggs. Visit cockatiel cottage for more info.
A female and a male female hamster must mate in order to create another hamster.
I have a neutered male ( Benny) and a female (Millie) living together and when they are out in a run next to another rabbit the female (Millie) normally tries to mate with Benny this could be a dominance thing with other rabbits being around, or even if other rabbits are not around she might just be a very dominant doe.
Normally, yes.
Just leave it in the cage. If it's not fertilized she should figure that out soon enough and not care, then you can take it out.
Yes it can, but in might take time from the bird to get along with its new mate.
