I had this happen to me once. I put it on my computer, deleted all of the files... It was not pretty...
CONTACT iTunes! DO NOT DO WHAT I DID!
by pushing the sync tab
Make sure your iPod is plugged in. When iTunes recognizes the iPod, go to the iPod menu. There should be a 'restore' button there.
with the ipod plugged, open itunes, go to File/transfer purchases to computer
You must drag it back onto the iPod via iTunes when your iPod is plugged into the computer.
plugged to the computer, open itunes, go to File and there is the option
Yes it will make a noise make sure you have iTunes
When the songs were erased from your Ipod, you can never get it back, maybe you have plugged in your iPod to other PC/laptop that has itunes. You should connect your iPod only to the PC where you have installed your own itunes.
Possibly Yes. It depends what music is on the itunes library on the PC you are plugging into. Whatever is in the itunes library on the PC gets copied to the ipod ..ie the itunes library syncs with the ipod plugged in. Now If you only want to charge the ipod then go into itunes BEFORE you plug the ipod in and go to options and deselect the option to automatically sync when an ipod is plugged in. Even if you cant do that.... another option might be....once you plug in the ipod it starts to sync so cancel the sync as it takes a few seconds to fully start... or close itunes as soon as it opens so you don't get a sync being performed.
is it plugged into a USB 2.0 interference? if it is, try re-installing itunes, and restarting your ipod.
try the troubleshooting guide on the itunes because it will never sync unless itunes detect it
with the ipod plugged to your computer open itunes and go to File/transfer purchases even if the apps you have are free
Well itunes is kind of finicky about stuff like this. You will have to purchase the movie What Happens in Vegas from ITunes. Make sure your ipod is plugged into your computer and is visible from your ITunes. Then copy and paste the movie file onto your IPod or you can just drag and drop it.
restore it using itunes while having it plugged into the computer
