You need to verify the Transmission Fluid Level, in my experience, i have a 1995 Honda Accord and had the same problem, first, i verify the Fluid Level and was ok, after this, i realize my tires pressure (in 2 of them) were under the recommended specs, after i match the recommended level in the 4 tires (32 psi) problem disappear and haven't since...(i assume when the tires are under spec level, the motor and transmission are forced, giving the sensation of kickback)
where is the fuse box for the radio back up light on a 2004 Honda accord?
Accord LX dose not have a transmission filter. The only way to keep the transmission clean is to change the fuid more often. Correction: ALL transmissions have filters, Period. Honda doesn't recommend changing it. There's a difference! Do you shower, and put dirty clothes back on?? I don't! I changed mine, on my '99 Honda Accord, dealer said there wasn't one! It's just a round element, under a small cover, on the driver's side, of the tranny.

Typically, you add transmission fluid back through the little filler hole that the dipstick goes in. You'll probably need a little funnel. And only add back the same amount you drained out.

They have a "Trans Axle" that is a part of the front end. The transmission hangs on the back of the motor - transversely mounted - and supports the front wheels through constant velocity universal joints. No user serviceable parts inside...
out the petcock on the back side of the radiator
It should be on the back of the transmission, almost directly under the throttle body. If you want to get rid of it, just unplug it, but your speedometer and odometer will stop working.
