You need to weigh your option here. Are you really in love with this new person, or are you just a little bored of married life? Have things gone a bit stale in your marriage so you seek adventure else where? If so you need to work out if throwing away your marriage is worth this new person?
What if this new person you've fallen for doesn't feel the same way? What if they don't want to be together long run.. additionally, what if they are only interested because it's exciting seeing some one who's married, will that die off when you are divorced and all the attention is on them.
It's a serious thing to think about, but remember, if you were serious about this new person, but worried you will hurt your married partner, you need to be happy for you, don't stay married if you're not happy because you will grow to resent each other and things will end sour.
Always try your hardest, you made a commitment to stay with that person for the rest of your lives, hence marriage. If you are going to throw in the towel, you need to talk to them about this.
