U must have taken the elite 4. then go to 1 island and talk to celio he will say that he needs a ruby.
How to get ruby: Go to MT. ember that's in top of 1 island there it is to rocket guys u should battle them and go inside the cave where u find the ruby. Now go back to celio and give him ruby now he will ask for a Sapphire.
How to get Sapphire: Go to icefall cave in 4 island there u will find waterfall then go up the waterfall inside the cave and go to the end of it there u have to chalange some rocket grunts with lorelei who is there to then go to the dotted hole at six island and use cut at the door, then it will open. Go inside and go to: top left right down there it will be a Sapphire but a scientist will take it. Now u should go to the rocket wearhouse at 6 island go inside and beat all rocket grunts the go to the top room and u will find the scientist. Now he will give u the Sapphire, go give it to celio and u can now trade with Sapphire, ruby and emerald

∙ 15y agoFirst you have to defeat the elite four, then you have to go to the sevii islands and find the ruby and the sapphire, which is another new adventure. ∙ 12y agoYou must get the national dex and deliver the ruby and sapphire to celio (firered), in emerald you need to just beat the game. But the most important thing is this: You can't trade between firered and emerald unless you have wireless adapters if you want to trade but don't have wireless adapters go through these steps: Trade the Pokemon from firered to either ruby, sapphire, colosseum or xd gale of darkness. Trade that Pokemon you sent from firered to ruby, sapphire, colosseum or xd gale of darkness to emerald.
