I know a lot! For example there are 8 planets and I believe 6 Plutaroids, there may be more.

The Plutaroids that I know about a Pluto, Eris, Makemake, Ceres ( Not sure if spelled right), Quaoar, and Sedna. There is lots to know about planets, so if this gets you interested your welcome.

Pluto was once named as the ninth planet in our solar system. In 2006, it was reclassified as a dwarf planet. Percival Lowell discovered the existence of Pluto in 1905. Pluto was named after the Roman God of the underworld by an 11 year old British girl.

Mercury: It is the first planet from the sun. It is extremely hot during the day and extremely cold during the night time. Has 81 moons.

Venus: Has poisones gasses everywhere. Second planet from the sun. Smallest planet.

Earth: Only planet known to have human life. Has more land than water. Third planetfrom the sun.

Mars: Recently found water on Mars. Recently found life on Mars. Known as the red planet.

Jupiter: Biggest planet in the solar system. Has rings. Has a big red dot which is a storm(a tornando most likely)

Saturn: Has rings made of ice, dust, gas, and other particles. Known as a gas giant.

Uranus: It is the smaller version of Jupiter. Takes 84 years to fully orbit. Looks like a giant cue-ball in space.

Neptune: Looks blue. Rotates sideways. A very icy planet.

Pluto: Pluto isn't really a planet. Actually Pluto is a big asteroid that was pulled into our sun's rotation.
