It always depends on what your feelings are. Do you like them too? Are you willing to change that friendship in case they actually do like you?
Things don't get easier if you don't like them but they confess to you. You could try to get past it, but I guarantee that you will think their every action towards you is because they like you. Atleast for the first little while.
Think about it, and most importantly, don't jump to conclusions. Maybe he/she is just more comfortable doing certain things for you/around you because of your 'best friend' status.
