The main tourist sites in Cardiff are probably the Millennium Stadium, the Bay Area (with Techniquest and the Senedd), the Castle, and the National Museum (Europe's best Monet collection outside France).

It isn't a holiday destination.

Cardiff has a huge night life for those that enjoy a good food and a drink. There are several very good night clubs, museums, 2 Major theatres, a very good shopping complex, historic buildings to visit including Cardiff Castle and on the outskirts Saint Fagans. There are excellent sports facilities including the national Stadium and the home of Cardiff Blues and the Blue Birds (Cardiff City)

Cardiff has a lot, rather depending where the question is aimed, there is a lot of culture and history to do with the city which can be seen in the Castle and the museum. Cardiff has however been through a lot of development in recent years and now boasts the millennium stadium which regularly holds events with up to 80,000 spectators and the new sports village which is currently mid-completion for the olympic games.

There are many famous medieval castles that are great tourist attractions. For soccer fans the Cardiff City Stadium may be of interest. Doctor Who is filmed here and offers an attraction called the doctor who experience.

from London to whales is 300miles o.O every1 knows that >.< You're asking the distance between a city and a country so it depends on which part of Wales you are asking about. As an example, the distance to Cardiff, which is the capital of Wales, is about 160 miles. To Anglesey the distance is about double that figure.
