England is full of fantastic things to do, though of course tourists are advised to plan to work around the weather! Here are a few highly recommended activities: . Visit L…ondon, the capital city of England, though not necessarily home of British culture! London is perfect for "shopaholics" there's nothing money can't buy! Hotels are available from £19 (approx $30 as of 2/2/2011) and there are many historical sites such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye, Covent Garden, the Tower of London and HMS Belfast. . Visit Warwickshire, the heart of England. Warwickshire is home to Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace), and the picturesque and historical towns of Warwick, Kenilworth and Royal Leamington Spa. Famous castles can be found at both Warwick and Kenilworth. You could also visit Coventry city and Nuneaton (George Eliot's birthplace). . Visit coastal towns! Nothing can beat an English sea-side town. Definite recommendations are Poole and Bournemouth, both absolutely stunning and often very warm in summer (well warm to British standards!). If children are with you when visiting England and you wish to go to a coastal town Butlins is perfect as it provides food, board and entertainment as well as being by the sea. . Try visiting Center Parcs, they are very peaceful with plenty of activities for everyone as well as being set in a rural location, it is common for wildlife (such as Swans) to come right to your door!
