However He does give us the right to chose. Otherwise we would be mindless robots. He wants us all to come to him and love him. But sadly some of us make the wrong choice and follow Satan instead. Those that do choose to follow Christ are fulfilling Gods wishes. Paul is addressing those that have chosen to follow Christ.
