The DSi is the new version of the DS, it has an improved interface. It also has the addition of a camera, SD slot, and access to the shop channel. It can also connect to any kind of wireless hotspot unlike the Wii. And of course, it can play DS games. Oh! plus, it can play it's own type of software similar to Wiiware called (you guessed it) Dsiware. The only downside is it can't play GBA games. There is also a new version with a larger screen called the DSIXL.
You can save flipnotes to it from flipnote studio (downloaded free off DSi Shop), you can download music to it from your PC and play around with them in DSi Sound, you can save photos to it you have taken with the DSi Camera, plus you can save stuff you have downloaded or bought from the DSi Shop to the card (from System Settings), place the card in another DSi, copy the stuff from it to the DSi, take the card out of the other DSi and put it back in yours without the other DSi owner having to pay for something you have downloaded but that's only if you are really generous.
What is DSi CardDSi card is a slot-1 flashcard for Nintendo DSi, DSiLL and DSiXL. It is a good engine for games and multi-medias. Different with DS card, DSi card offers very good compatibility. It supports a MicroSDHC card (up to 32GB) to play games, listen music, watch music, E-book and so on. Except the original DSi card from Nintendo, there are also many other R4 cards for DSi in the market. All these DSi cards are compatible with DSiLL, DSiXL, DSi, DS and DS lite console.DSi has camera functions, internet capabilities, and the addition of the DS store.
however, its not much of a difference in terms of game play unless you're talking about getting a DSi XL which is basicly a DSi but larger screen and such. Otherwise gameplay isn't affected in anyway. If you are looking toward saving money, just get a ds but if you got the money to spend and want a bigger screen, more functions, get a DSi or DSi XL. Of course there is also the 3DS which is a "no glasses" 3D handheld but I don't it's worth it right now because it has no exclusive games on there at the moment.
Here's an abridged version of what I said:
DS-smaller, first model, cheaper, plays DS games
DSi-slightly larger, bit more expensive, plays DS games
DSI XL- Much larger, Bit more expensive, Plays DS games
3DS- DSi size, very expensive, plays DS and 3DS games (barely any 3DS games currently out thought)
in picnote chat write in color take pichers send them to your facebook a cont if you have one download music buy games of the internet
There are several types of Nintendo DS systems ranging from the Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DSi, and Nintendo DSi XL. The newest version of the Nintendo DS is the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL.
It was just called Nintendo DS. Then Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo DSi XL.
the Nintendo ds, Nintendo ds lite, Nintendo dsi and Nintendo dsi XL
no the ds charger is not the same as the dsi charger and the ds charger will NOT work on the dsi
Nintendo Dsi if you do not have alot of gba games because your prob trading in your ds lite if you have a gba or ds and ds lite i recommend dsi
yes you can use Nintendo ds games in a dsi
nintendo ds: no nintendo dsi: yes(but needs acompatible memory card)
The DS lite and DSi are completely different pieces of hardware. You would have to buy a DSi, you can not turn a DS lite into a DSi
If it says "Action Replay DS," it's for the DS and DS Lite. If it says "Action Replay DSi," it's for the DSi only.
The Nintendo DSi is just an upgraded version of the Nintendo DS and DS Lite. The Nintendo DSi plays the exact same games as the Nintendo DS and DS Lite and only plays DS and DS Lite games. Currently, there aren't going to be any DSi games, only more DS games.
no,but you can buy a dsi action replay which if you hold into your ds works in bothds and dsi.
