If you are in the lane governed by the arrow proceed carefully in the direction of the arrow after yielding the right-of-way to other vehicles and pedestrians. If you do not intend to go in the direction of the arrow and you are not in that lane, you have to wait for a green arrow, or a full green light.
If you are in the 'green arrow' lane by mistake, you should move anyway, or you may annoy many people.
Means that you may proceed in the direction of the arrow, if you are in the proper lane and the roadway is clear.
It means that you may make a move IN THE DIRECTION THE ARROW POINTS ONLY.
It means that vehicles wishing to move in the direction the arrow points can go. Ayy other maneuver is prohibitted.
you can turn wichever way the green arrow is pointing but you have to be in the proper lane for such a turn and you must yield the right-of-way to vehicles and pedestrians within the intersection
If going straight, it means you must stop until the light turns green. You are permitted to turn in whatever direction the green arrow is pointing.
A green arrow with a red traffic light means you have a protected turn with oncoming traffic stopped at a red light. Then when the green arrow turns yellow and then you have a green light, you have to yield to opposing traffic, but you may still make your turn when the opposing traffic has cleared.
A green light and a green left arrow means it is safe for cars to go straight ahead AND turn left. Typically what happens is either the green left arrow comes first before the green light which means only the cars who wish to turn left can proceed but the cars wishing to go straight ahead must wait. Or in a different case the green light and the green left arrow will turn green at the same time but usually in most cases the green left arrow is there for a shorter period of time then the green light. Say the green left arrow turns yellow and then the left arrow disappears but the green light still remains. This means you can drive straight ahead BUT you can still turn left if the left arrow is gone and the green arrow is still there. However, in this case when the green left arrow goes away and the green light is still there the light turns green for the cars coming in the opposite direction so you have to wait your turn and make sure no cars ae there and then you may proceed left. As the cars from the opposite direction have more right of way.
Hope this helps.
Arrows on traffic lights can point Right, Left, Down or Up. Typically you find arrows on turning lanes, or when there are more than two lanes of traffic in each direction, or when lane usage on a multi-lane roadway changes at specific times of the day. (For example: Some roads around Cleveland, Ohio changes direction of lanes during rush hour.)
Here are some situations-- but always watch out for other traffic!
You may find the arrow indicator in many situations. Just do what the light tells you, and watch out for other traffic.
it means that if you are in the turning lane that the arrow is pointing to, you can turn that way but the people going straight cannot go yet. It's basically giving turners the right of way.
Stop and check intersection is clear and turn in direction of arrow.
It means STOP! go on this way (were the arrow points in)
you must stop if traveling straight...you can go which ever way the green arrow is pointing, left or right.
Traffic is allowed to proceed in the direction the arrow is pointing
You are allowed to procede in the direction indicated by the arrow ONLY.
A green arrow showing same time as a red light proceed carefully in the direction of the arrow after yielding the right-of-way to other vehicles and perdestrians
If the green arrow shows for the direction you want to turn then you obey the green arrow, the red light is for all other traffic. The green arrow basically overrules the red light for the direction of the arrow.
The green arrow is what is often known as a "filter." This means vehicles are permitted to proceed with caution in the direction indicated by the arrow.
The Red Light Is Telling Everyone To Stop. The Green Arrow Is Telling You It Is Ok To Turn At That Time (Which Ever Way The Light Is Pointing).
People are allowed to turn in the direction the arrow is pointing, but they can not go straight across the road, that should really be common since.
You may turn in the direction the arrow is indicating. No other maeuvers are allowed.

It means you replied to the message that the person sent you. A dark green arrow means you forwarded the e-mail and a red arrow mean you forwarded twice or more.
