Best Answer

Abrasion occurs then rocks and stones, picked up by the glacier through plucking, are rubbed against the bedrock at the bottom and side of the glacier, as the glacier passes, pulled down hill by gravity. This causes wearing on the landscape.

Yes, among: Hydraulic action, which is the force of the water wearing the land away, Atrittion, which is big rocks being smashed against each other creating smaller ones, Solution, which is soluble, smaller particles being washed away, and Abrasion which is large rocks hitting against banks of a river, making the rocks smaller.

This is the process by which the bed and banks are worn down by the river's load. The river throws these particles against the bed and banks, sometimes at high speeds
