Snails eat lots of vegetables like lettuce and are supposed to eat cuttle fish, this keeps their shell strong as they can be very delicate. It's like us drinking milk It has calcium to ake our bones strong. They also eat green plants(but if you get them yourselves they must be soaked overnight,to remove any nasty chemicals). They also eat bark and all the things on it. but you also have to keep them in a damp environmental.
snails love to snack on lettuce or any other fruit or veggies. the most common ones you would find in your backyard are big fans of nice plump straw berries, especially juicy ones. You can also feed them carrots, black berries or sometimes even plants like flowers, though be careful what you pick from the garden. If you are keeping a snail, make a small habitat in a bug cage with moist dirt and grass, along with leaves and possibly a stick, they are known for being slow, but they are actually very fast! don't underestimate these little creatures, and don't leave them unattended while they are active and out of there shell. And don't forget to clean out the cage every other day, and always leave some water in there reach.
P.S - if you want to keep this snail for quite a while, get creative and try to make them feel at home in the cage, and try different foods to satisfy your little buddy!

Types of Snails Snails come in two main varieties. There are aquatic snails and land snails.

Seriously? It looks like a horn. A rams horn. Come on now.
You can do this, however, please note that it is not recommended. Goldfish are coldwater fish which makes finding a suitable snail for a coldwater tank very difficult since the majority of snails sold at pet/fish stores are tropical. It is also likely that if you were to put a snail in with a goldfish the goldfish would probably harass it (i.e. trying to eat it, bumping into it, knocking it down).

Snails use an undulating muscle called a foot to move. Secreted slime aids their movement by reducing friction between the two surfaces.
No. All apple snails are single sex which means you need a male and a female to produce offspring. Often apple snails are mistaken for ramshorn snails which ARE hermaphrodites and can actually mate with themselves when there are no other snails present. The easy way to tell the difference (because it can be confusing) is by looking to see how many sets of tentacles are present. Apple Snails will have 2 pairs of tentacles one large set and one smaller set attached near it's mouth. (4 tentacles total). Ramshorn snails will only have one set of tentacles. (2 tentacles total) One other feature that apple snails have is a breathing siphon that sticks out just under the shell at the left side of the head. They have both a lung and gills which helps when things dry up a bit or oxygen levels in their habitat are very low. This siphon is hard to spot but doesn't exist on ramshorn snails, which only have gills.
yes, some snails such as the ramshorn aqautic snail can. They require very little maintenance. regular snails can live in small critter keepers, and can live for quite a while. use peat or bark for them to live in, along with lettuce other fresh greens and fruit. Garden snails work VERY well. i have one of them now.
Apple Snails will eat other snails if you don't feed them. If you feed them, then they are alright.
Jews who eat kosher will not eat snails since snails are not kosher. However, not all Jews eat according to the laws of kashrut, so some Jews do eat snails.
Yes. Snails can eat about the same things that people eat.
Different types of snails eat different things. Many snails eat algae or plant material. However there are a great number of predatory snails that eat fish, insects, and other animals. Most land snails eat plants, but snails that live in the ocean have a wide variety of diets.
