She may not want to hurt him or to speak up about his choice of partner because he may have showed her he's hopefully feeling happy with someone else or has made up his own mind. But she may love him forever or she may fall out of love over time, only time will tell.
But most of all and importantly, she wants to stay friends, and she wouldn't ever let you down when in trouble. She cares about you deeply. She will take care of you, still. Maybe she will even carry you in her heart, forever, who knows?
"I will always love you" is also used if she may never have been able to tell you the truth that she loved you all the time, so now she is showing you, even if it may be too late for him to come back to her.
Can also be used as a form of temporary goodbye, for example he's going away for a longer time just at the train station, and she wants to let him know that she will stay faithful towards him, no matter what.

No girl would break up with a "I will always love you" if they are still "in love with you" AND in a steady relation-ship with you. It's used to say: "Sorry, I'm afraid, it's over, and I want to move on without you, now. I just can't see a future for us."I personally don't write: 'I will always love you' when it's not working out, I am too honest about letting someone go, not to sugar-coat it. But some people do that stuff not to feel guilty.

∙ 14y agoIt means that at that particular moment in time, the person has very strong feelings towards you. Those feelings could be feelings of affection, or they can also be feelings coming from a strong sexual desire.
This feeling could last years, just like it may only last a day, a month, a second.
The duration of these feelings could depend on many factors: the way you treat each other, the things you find out about each other's personalities as you get to know wach other more, the determination of either of you towards each other. Whether a feeling continues in a person depends on many things; including even their state of mind, or their lifestyle.
There are many studies being conducted on the science of love. Google the term "science of love" or "love brian scans" to find out more.
A lot of our feelings are based on chemical reactions that happen in our bodies, and it is only recently that scientists are learning about Love and its actual biological factors.
