In layman, USA is the center of the West, so there are no demigods born in Europe, Africa, South America or Central America. Only the USA. That's why Mount Olympus isn't by Mount Olympus in Greece, but on Empire State Building, Mediterranean Sea isn't the Sea of Monsters, but The Bermuda Triangle is, Labyrinth is Under the USA and Mount Othrys is near San Fransico in mount Tam. Got the point, right? :D
