During the day, the sun is at its brightest and the moon isdirectly opposite the sun. Therefore, you will never see a fullmoon during the day because the moon is always changi…ng position inrelation to the sun.
In order for us to see the full lighted half of the moon, it must be directly opposite the sun in our sky. So it rises when the sun sets, sets when the sun rises, and the …two of them are not in the sky at the same time.
Considering that the full moon is sometimes bright enough to read by, you can see a lot during a full moon. Some vintners harvest their more sensitive grapes at night by moonl…ight. Did you mean on the Moon itself? At the full, the entire visible half of the Moon is illuminated.
You always see the whole moon. When it is only half full, you still see the dark half also. Some day, light a candle in a dark room with a globe of the earth. Walk around be…hind the globe, so that it is between you and the candle. (The candle represents the sun). This activity will give you some good ideas.
This very much depends on the culture. In the USA it is thought to be unluckly to have a black cat cross your path, whilst in the UK it is considered to be very lucky indeed.
Not really; you only see the side that's facing you!! Plus you don't see below the surface...
You do on occasion. A full moon occurs when the moon is on the opposite side of the Earth than the sun is. At that position the whole of the moon's face is lit up. It is only …on the opposite side of the Earth than the Sun when it is night time. If the moon is on the same side of the Earth of the Sun, then we can only see part of the moon lit up as part of what is lit up is not facing us.
Nothing whatsoever. It's just a white kitty.
That's what happens during a total eclipse of the moon. Most of the western Hemisphere, including all of the USA, will see that on December 21, 2010.
The only reasons why you wouldn't be able to see the full moon would be that either it is daytime (the full moon rises at sunset, and sets at sunrise), or it is during totalit…y of a lunar eclipse, or your eyes are closed. The full moon is the brightest thing in the night sky. It's almost possible to read by it.
It's called an optical illusion. It's not possible to see a completely full moon during the day. For a few days before the full moon, you might see it in the early evening, a …while before sunset. For a few days after the full moon, you might see it in the early morning, a while after sunrise. But when it's exactly full, it rises when the sun sets, and sets when the sun rises, so can't be seen in daytime.
Full moons have been in the news lately, because the moon has been closer to Earth than usual for a full moon, and therefore has been larger and brighter, described as a "supe…r moon". This news has in some manner penetrated into your subconscious mind, and became the subject of a dream. Dreams reflect what is on our minds, nothing more. They do not have supernatural significance, folklore notwithstanding.
It's a beautiful animal and a bright omen, unlike the negative cast given to Black Cats- which, as even Poe admitted, are beautiful animals, and unfortunately Halloween punks-… bats having achieved escape velocity from- we all know wear- torture all manner of animals-taking it out on all cars, not just Black ones.
In The Moon
half of the moon is called the dark side and we never see it.
Yes, it means luck will come your way. It depends how you saw it though. If it walk towards you it is luck in your creative endeavors. If it walked away from you it is still l…ucky. Anyway it means luck. I hope this helps:)
The same side of the moon (for all practical purposes) is facingthe earth all the time, not just during full moons. This is becausethe moon is tidally locked with earth. The m…oon's orbital periodand its rotational period are the same. The more massive hemisphereof the moon is always facing the earth. There is a slight variationcalled lunation. Lunation happens because the moon's rotationalperiod is constant, while its orbital velocity around the earth isnot constant. Because the moon's orbit is elliptical, as arevirtually all orbits, the moon is passing over the earth at avariable velocity depending on its distance from the earth. As aresult, the rotational movement of the moon seems to be eitherahead of the moon's orbital location, or lagging behind it.Lunation is an apparent movement of the moon, and not a realmovement. There is also a north-south lunation caused by thechanging altitude of the moon relative to the equatorial plane.
In Lunar Phases
A full moon phase is when the full face of the moon facing earth isa complete disc of reflected sunlight. So, I don't reallyunderstand the question that states a full moon can…'t be seen?
