Discolored / dirty looking engine coolant is the key indicator that your van is begging for an engine anti-freeze/coolant flushing.
It's a bit of a messy job, so you might want to have it done professionally - and they'll likely do a more thorough job.

I'm having to guess it's the low coolant light? Possible coolant switch in the overflow bottle is dirty or defective., Is it low on coolant? Possible wiring issue to sensor.
no
if drain plug is stopped up, u need to lose antifreeze and flush radiator and then replace with new antifreeze as obviously the radiator and coolant are dirty or drain plug would not stop up
If it is coming from the tank: NO. If it coming from the bowl: YES!
Causes of over heating: insufficient coolant; antifreeze/water mixture not correct; thermostat stuck in closed position; faulty water pump; clogged/dirty radiator; leaks in the system.
If coolant is rusty or dirty - yes
Check the coolant, the thermostat, or the radiator. When the coolant system is low on antifreeze or dirty it will cause the air and heat not to work. If you have enough antifreeze, and the correct type (NO GREEN only orange or pink or maybe clear) and your car still has the same problem, you will probably need a radiator flush. Take it to somebody you trust to do that since we went to Jiffy Lube once and they broke a hose and fixed it with something that resembled chewed bubble gum. We have a constant leak now and it will cost $1000 to fix.
the sensor could be dirty. clean off the accumulated crud with a toothbrush and if the low coolant light still remains on then the sensor will need to be replaced.
The float is stuck or dirty. Bounce the bike up and down a few times to far the float loose. If this doesnt work the float is dirty
Common reasons: insufficient coolant in the system; antifreeze/water ratio not correct (should be 50/50); thermostat stuck in closed position; water pump faulty; radiator clogged or dirty; hoses leaking; blown head gasket; cracked cylinder head;
I'm not totally sure because I haven't seen your sled but on mine I noticed the same thing and then noticed that a little would come out of the overflow reservoir going over bumpy trails. I had to change my fluid because it was a few years old and pretty dirty and diluted looking.
No. What affects engine overheating are: low or dirty coolant; add or flush then use new coolant. Defective engine thermostat; replace it.Plugged, dirty radiator; have it flushed/rodded.Electric cooling fans ( if equipped) not working; repair as needed.
