∙ 16y agoFor a couple of days the skin running about 8" down my side from my armpit is tender to the touch. There is no apparent reason for the tenderness and it only hurts when you touch it or your clothes or you arm rub against it. It could be a damage nerve or a nerve from repetative work. Using the arm during your work hours, doing something different such as painting the inside of your home for long hours (just examples.) It could also be what they call 'hot spots.' It's best to see your doctor and have him/her send you to a specialist.
