∙ 13y agoTo kiss the Blarney Stone you must lie on your back and bend your head backwards over a huge gap, and look backwards over the ground below. Even though the castle is in partial ruins the Blarney Stone remains.
They say that kissing the Blarney Stone will give you the gift of eloquence, gift of gab (eloquence, the gift to speak in a persuasive manner).
It is said you also get receive the gift of Persuasion.

I would love to know how the people of Blarney managed to convince people to kiss a rock Lol me too mate. People kiss the Blarney stone because its the thing for tourists to do

∙ 13y agoBeing Irish, I may just be naturally blessed with the luck o' the Irish. Perhaps it is because I do not kiss rocks. It seems as though, through a googling, that the stone is not washed. But yes, apparently it brings fortune... and not pathogens
