After smoking spice, when the chemicals are released into the bloodstream, the chemicals from the spice constrict the blood vessels and limit blood flow to the brain and other parts of the body, this can later lead to headaches, nausea and depending on how you react to your high, paranoia. Some incidents involving seizures have been reported because of the lack of blood flow to the brain.
