There are some bad birds that are just wired that way. A lot of them go bad from not enough handling or the wrong kind. You can't be scared of the bird, they will sense it and take advantage of it every time. You have to be consistent and correct it each and every time it misbehaves and after a while, it will learn that you are alright and can be trusted. It has taken me two years to retrain the Cockatoo on my shoulder. Time, patience and a little blood and you might change it's attitude.
