Many people use a "Hair Straightener" for beauty.
Although you can really damage your hair by doing so, what I mean by this is that is you can Burn your hair and can cause dieing hair which is NOT attractive at all.
Something you can do is get a hair cut maybe 2 - 3 times a Month and every one appreciates a good haircut.
You can also buy some hair products but make sure that you read the "Fine Print" Because some of them can also cause really bad damage.
Another thing that you can do and this is the last thing I am going to say is that you can buy some Hair Colors to get that magic touch.

Edit: also hair straightners tend to (after a long period of time) cause split ends. I would recommend not using a straightner but if you have to, use a good name brand straightner like CHI.
