Ovaries hold the ovuli (eggs) in a womans body. They dont specifically do anything but during the menstrual cycle they send eggs to the uterus to be fertilized. When no sperm fertilizes the eggs they just leave the body in a stream of blood. Think of ovaries as a mans testicles. Theyre basically the same but with different functions.
