It carries blood from the heart to the lungs
The pulmonary arteries carry blood from the heart to the lungs, to drop off carbon dioxide and pick up oxygen. There are two pulmonary arteries, one going to the left lung and one to the right. Knowledge provided by me - I'm a Paramedic.
Its function is to transport aerated blood back to heart.
The pulmonary artery carries deoxegynated blood from the heart to the lungs
it brings blood from the heart to the lungs
The blood vessels that take oxygenated blood from the right ventricle to the lungs are the pulmonary artery. It is part of the pulmonary circulation.
in our body there are both, pulmonary artery and pulmonary vein
The pulmonary artery is not part of the aorta.
Pulmonary arteries carry deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle.
The Pulmonary arteries carry deoxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart.
The pulmonary trunk carries blood from the right ventricle of the heart, then splits into the left and right pulmonary arteries. Answer: pulmonary trunk/left and right pulmonary arteries
the pulmonary artery sends blood to the lungs.
pulmonary artery supplies de oxygenated blood to lungs.
the pulmonary artery looks like a tube, I think...
No, the aorta is the largest artery.
The pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart, and the pulmonary artery carries de-oxygenated blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs.
Arteries carry oxygenated blood away from the heart. Arteries probably CAN carry deoxygenated blood if a person draws blood from a vein, then injects it into an artery. That would be very stupid though.
