Organic foods are foods making styles that was practised by farmers before the 1900's. Organic foods have to meet standards that are assessed and tested by organisations. A well known organisation for testing food is Soil Association. Organic foods are foods that use pesticides to the minimum and are observed very closely and controlled. Organic foods are productions of foods that are more 'natural'. Organic meat is made by keeping the animals in a certain way. No drug is given to any animals to produce organic meat. For example Chickens have to have a lot of sunlight and free to move around.

Organic food is food that is grown or raised under certain conditions. Organic food generally limits non-organic (non-natural) pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers as much as possible. If an organic food involves meat, then the base animal was grown without the effects of growth hormones.

Organic foods are non-GMO and are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, though in the United States foods labeled USDA Organic are allowed to use pesicides under certain situations, usually when there is a major insect infestation. Organic foods do not use artifical ingredients.
