A group of colonists were throwing snowballs and sticks at a group of 'Redcoats' who were told to hold their fire. The colonists were taunting them, practically daring them to shoot. After a while of taunting and beatings, the Redcoats fired, killing a young man. They all began to shoot, killing several and injuring others.

The first event that helped trigger the Boston massacre was that ther wer some kids throughing snowballs at a soldier witch then atracted a mob of angry people. the soldier then called for help, a captain came with his men and were only going to help the lone soldier get away but the crowd grew and the soldiers wer then pined.

the crowd threatned them with clubs. the soldiers were nervous and the captain was in the crowd trying to calm the mob down. the crowd grew more angly and started to shout shoot so the soldier could'NT tell if it was the captain or the crowd whoo were yelling shout so they shout and the first to die was Christmas Aticus.

this is one event that helped trigger the Boston massacre

King George III of England was irritated with the colonists in America. The colonists didn't want to pay tax on English products; for example lead, glass, paint, wine and tea. In 1768 he sent 4,000 British troops as well as a bunch of warships to the colonies to show the colonists that England was in control.

The colonists were really mad with how they were being treated and obviously tensions were rising. King George III was acting like he owned the people in the colonies. The colonists were not allowed to own their own guns or have any say about their own property. Soon after the troops were sent into the colonies the people had had enough of being bossed around.

The colonists were so feed up with the whole situation that on March 5, 1770 a bunch of schoolboys started throwing snowballs and calling names at a guard at the Customs house in Boston. Everything escalated and got totally out of control when the guard called for back up and somebody shot off a musket. Then more people started shooting. At the end of the riot there were five colonists dead. One of the colonists was Crispus Attuck a run away slave. And he was the first black hero in the American Revolution.

King George III had caused all the tensions to rise because of his unfair treatment of the colonists. Anyone who is treated unfairly will react like this sooner or later.

The Boston Massacre started because of the colonists (people in the streets) were throing snow balls, ice balls, rocks, and anything else they found in the street at the soldiers, so the Captain ordered the soldiers not to fire, but with all the crazieness, one of the soldiers panicked and fired. Then everyone else started to fire shots and that is how 5 colonists end up dead in the end, and this is how The Boston Massacre started.

The Boston Massacre started because, a young boy had thrown a snowball and had a horrible aim. He hit the british officer, the british officer over reacted and thought the boy had purposly throw the snowball at him. So he shot the boy, screams grew, the collinist were frightened, people ran and fought with the british officers. Two people had died that day, and many hurt badly. That was the cause of the Boston Massacre.

The British taxed the colonies mistreated citizens and killed many people.
