Defiantly not goldfish. They produce a ton of waste and need a massive aquarium to live a long and happy life . Maybe try a betta because they do not need a big aquarium . REMEMBER all fish need a home that is clean and is maintained properly . RESEARCH FIRST !! And enjoy your new fish . X
Goldfish are pretty easy to keep.

Bettas (chinese fighting fish) are very easy to care for. Feed them 2-3 times a week, can keep in a small bowl, keep out of dierect sunlight. Clean bowl once a week to once a month.
Depends what age. <6 Gold fish of Siamese Fighting fish are nice, easy fish to keep. A tank with just snails and shrimp is also an option Over 8 there are a few options; Guppies are pretty cool to keep but they are crazy breeders same with Mollies and Platies. Danios don't breed that much but they are not as hardy as the other fish I've mentioned
Ask your fishmonger for recipes. Most supermarkets today supply recipes for fish in the fish department, or wherever they keep copies of recipes for their customers. Also try searching for recipes online for beginners.

Clown Fish
You will need to set up a (very costly and complex) Tropical Marine Reef Environment for the fish and include a live sea anemone (for the fishes home). It will have to be fed several times daily. It is not easy to keep Marine fish alive.
