I'd try a grain free food like Wellness Core, or give dog home cooked meal, 50% meat 35% vegetables (No corn) 15% cooked oatmeal, see if you get results. There are lots of grains and ingredients I don't like to see in dogfoods

∙ 12y agoI have a dog that had itchy skin and an odor. I put baby powder on the spots that would itch him. The kind of babypowder i used was Aloe Vera and vitamin E and it also had just a little Cornstarch. I put it on him a few days a week and in about 2weeks he stopped scratchin, the odor went away, and his hair even grew back.

∙ 12y agoThey have food that are made for dog with dry skin. If you can't find one you can get a bottle if flaxseed oil and put about a 1/2 tablespoon on their food once a day
