By "raise Ph levels", I assume you mean to increase alkalinity. pH above 7.0 (which is neutral) is alkaline; pH below 7.0 is acidic. According to my Prescription for Nutritional Healingbook, alkaline-forming foods are: Avocados, Corn, Dates, Fresh Coconut, Fresh fruits (most), Fresh Vegetables (most), Honey, Maple syrup, Molasses, Raisins, Soy Products. Although it might seem that citrus fruits would have an acidifying effect on the body, the citric acid they contain actually has an alkalinizing effect in the system.

you can't have an edible item with a ph level of 14 since that is too basic and will burn you badly.

You mean acid- PH is just a way to measure acidity. All food falls somewhere on the scale. Oranges are one- they have citric acid as well as other citrus fruits.
