the four objections Moses has are he wonders who he is, who was god, the Israelites will not believe him, and that he is not a good speaker.
There is no evidence at all of the israelites ever being in Egypt. The Egyptians kept detailed records of their everyday lives, but never mentioned the Israelites. There is no archaeological evidence of large-scale Hebrew presence in Egypt, nor of the 40 year sojourn in the desert, nor of the conquest of Canaan. The respected Israeli archaeologist Israel Finkelstein says that over ninety per cent of scholars believe that the slavery and Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt did not really happend as described in the Bible. The Israelites were not enslaved in Egypt, politically, physically or spiritually. The story of Moses and the Exodus arose centuries after the time the events supposedly occurred.
The children of Jacob certainly died in Egypt. However they did not die in slavery. Joseph was remembered as one who had done the nation great service. However, 8Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. The new Pharaoh who came later, possibly Thutmose III, did enslave the Israelites. This period of slavery was quite some years later, when the Israelites had also multiplied sufficiently to be both useful as slave labor and also seen as a potential threat to Egyptian sovereignty should they rebel. So, in the direct sense, Jacob's immediate children did not die in slavery. Jacob's children, in the sense that all the Israelites were his children, in terms of their being his descendants, did experience slavery.
They didn't. There are no records of any Israelites being in Egypt apart from the Old Testament. No Egyptian records or any other records mention them at all.
The Jews
Yes at numbers 11:5. after being freed from Egyptian slavery by Jehovah the ungrateful Israelites were complaining about the manna they had to eat in the wilderness and longing for the watermelons and other vegetables they had back in egypt.
There are two main incidents where Jews are mentioned in the bible were taken into slavery, in Egypt and in Babylon.
it appeared in ancient Egypt when the pyramids were being built
Joseph
The significance of Moses leading the Israelites out of slavery is that, by the power of God, they were allowed to become free and live in the promise land. It also shows that, by faith, courage, and trust, you can accomplish much.
The significance of the exodus out of Egypt was to show the Israelites the power of their God, the God of Israel. Up until this point some of the Israelites were being influenced by the Egyptian ways and their so called gods. After many years of enslavement and praying to God for their freedom, the God of Israel has groomed Moses and is showing his power to Israel and also to their oppressors, the Egyptians. Moreover, Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt also points to the cross, in that through Christ sacrifice we are being led out our enslaved sin life to a life of salvation.
Celebrating Pesach (Passover) is nothing like playing a comedy. Pesach is about remembering being freed from slavery.
The Israelites of the Exodus from Egypt could not have travelled through Philistia because the Philistines did not even begin to arrive in the Levant until 1185 BCE, whereas there is an Egyptian record of Israelites already being in the hinterland by 1205 BCE.
