Well, while some employers may be interested in an individuals GPA, they are extremely rare. I have never had an employer ask for my GPA in college. Most just want to make sure you completed the degree successfully, which means you graduated.

It is very important to keep your grades high in High School because your GPA is what colleges look at, and most colleges like students with high grades to enroll in their colleges.

It is also important to keep your grades up in Middle School because it gets you ready for Hgh School.

Absolutely. In fact, while your major may be the subject area that you love, you might be unable to find work in it. For example, some people might major in art, or in Photography, or in creative writing; but even if they get excellent grades, they may still find it difficult to get hired in their field once they graduate. But if they minored in something practical like education or business, that minor could become what helps them to find a job. And it's not just about finding employment: a minor can be a subject you just wanted to learn more about, and whether you use it right now or not, no knowledge is ever really wasted. There may come a time when that subject area will prove very useful to you in some aspect of your life.

Do grades really matter in outcome based education?

Yes and no. They don't matter with regard to the outcome... if you learn how to do something, then you know it, and the grade doesn't really matter. However, most colleges and even some employers *will* care about the grades, and it could impact your ability to attend college or get a good job.
