Generally, lowwer class suffer more than the upper class, as in most economical depressions or reccesions. Wheat farmers suffered alot because all their fields were turned into the "Dust Bowl" and there was no employment to be had. Many businessmen lost out, too; went completely broke.

The escalating numbers of unemployed and their families.
The group who suffered the most from the Great Depression was minority groups in general. Because most minority groups were not considered persons under the law, it was very hard for them to find adequate support during this time of hardship. For example, there were no laws protecting single mothers in the early 1900's. Men were not required to offer any sort of child support, and were not in any way legally responsible for care of their children. This meant that a single mother supporting a family would have an exceptionally hard time providing for her children, especially taking into account the large wage gap between men and women. Other minority groups that suffered were First Nations People, Japanese Canadians, and African Canadians. For the reasons stated, I believe minority groups such as these suffered the most in the aftermath of the Stock Market crash and subsequent Great Depression.
The farmers faced "hard times" before the rest of the nation during the 1920's. Over production caused lower prices for the farm product and lower profit for the agricultural areas. The farmers fought for a system known as "parity" which was tried in the 30''s, but it was not much of a success.
