∙ 14y agoThe important thing about the claddagh ring is not so much the finger but the direction in which the heart points. If the heart points inward, the wearer is saying that he or she is committed to someone else. If the heart points away from the wearer, then he or she is not attached and is presumably open to offers! Most people wear it on the ring finger of either hand.
