No, having constipation is very common in pregnancy as the muscles of the gut slow down under the influence of the pregnancy hormones. Lots of fiber (fresh fruit and vegetables and whole grains)m Prune Juice and if required a gentle laxative (tell the pharmacist you are pregnant) should do the trick.
