Like any debt the lender has the option of filing a civil suit to collect monies owed. If the creditor wins the suit they will be awarded a judgment and will be able to execute it in the manner that is allowed by laws of the state in which the debtor resides.
Generally a judgment creditor prefers wage garnishment as it is the easiest method of recovering the debt owed.

In the event that the lender does sue the debtor and receives a judgment award, a judgment can be executed in numerous ways including but not limited to wage garnishment and/or bank account levy.
