when the queen was going to have a baby she gets sick. the kingdom goes look for this flower that can heal the sick and injured.meanwhile, a women named gothel found it first and horeds it the power to make her young forever. when the kingdom finds the flower they take it back and the queen is healed by its magic. when the princess named repunzal is born with beautiful golden hair,the queen and king flew a latern in the sky for the joy of the princess. one night,gothel thought if she cut one picece of the hair,she can stay young forever. when she sings the song and cut the hair it becomes brown. when repunzal cries,she wakes up the queen and king they see gothel and she escapes...gothel raises the kid as her own and found her new flower:repunzals hair. 18 years later,repunzal has 70 feet of hair. when she tells her mother that she wants to go outside her mom says no.when she meets flynn,she tells him that she wants to go to see the lights and if he does she will give him the crown. when repunzal and flynn goes to a bar they find a secert passageway.the knights and max(the horse) finds them. when repunzal and flynn gets trapped,flynn tells her that his real name is ugin. repunzals tells him that when she sings her hair glows. after they are break free she heals his hand with her hair and tells him the story that she can't leave the tower. the next day, they go to see the laterns and tell how they feel about each other. mother gothel takes repunzal back to the castle.and ugin goes back to jail. repunzal see suns on her wall and has flashbacks and relize she is the lost princess..ugin is forced to be hanged. the guys from the bar rescued ugin. ugin finds repunzal tied up and gothel stabs him. gothel lets repunzal heal him,but he cuts her hair. gothel falls from the tower,old,and turns into dust.after her teal falls on his cheek,he comes back to life.when they return home,the whole kingdom has a party for welcoming home princess repunzal. years later,reunzal and ugin finally gets married.
