Nothing happens. The stereo has a transformer that converts the power to DC, and 50 or 60 Hz input makes no difference.

There are two holes vertically aligned on either side of the stereo's face. Step 3 of 5 Pull outward on the DIN tools (away from each other) and toward you, pulling the stereo from the dash. Step 4 of 5 Disconnect the wire groups from the rear of the stereo. The groups are for the antenna, speakers, amplifier and power supply. There also may be connections for an equalizer, a satellite radio receiver or an iPod or MP3 player. Step 5 of 5 Reconnect the grounding cable to the Ford Edge battery. Place the cable's clamp around the negative lead. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to tighten the clamp's bolt. The clamp needs to be tightened so that it cannot be moved around the battery's lead post by hand.
