Semi trucks as well as individuals deliver animals to the slaughterhouse and place them into a holding area, usually the night before slaughter. Typically, the slaughterhouse processes one type of animal during a workday. For example, cows and steers are brought in on certain days and pigs on another day. This procedure enables equipment changes as well as necessary sanitizing procedures. Very large slaughterhouses specialize in butchering just one type of animal.
well to god i dont think you want to know, are you maybe considering becoming a vegetarian? i am a vegan :). well for most animals, they are raised in tight unbreathable, unbearable spaces. in cages barley to big for their bodies alone, and thousands of pesticides and infection breeding on them, and trauma, and crying. they are taken to slaughter houses in large trucks, and they get scared and produce waste which they have to live in for days, many die along the way, in slaughter houses, the are strung upside down and their throats slit, whilst stll alive, birds are defeathed while still alive with no anestetic, if they are not killed by the throat slitting many are burned alive in the skin removele chambers. i dont know the specifics but if you want visual facts a good video to watch is 'Meat your meat' on YouTube. please do consider becoming a vegetarian or vegan if you are not already one. and restore Gods perfect world
Well, it is mostly used because an animal is dieing so they decide to kill it and dispose of it or (if any kind o edible meat) sell to be eaten.
