In a car wreck, a persons body will always move toward the point of impact. Along with your body, any unsecured objects in the car with you, will move towards the impact. This is why having your front license plate in your dash board is very dangerous for you and your passengers. Air bags have been in place for decades now, but within the last decade manufacturers have put in place side air bags so that you will not hit your head on the side window in a car wreck. People who do not wear a seat belt in a wreck are 100% more susceptible to injury in a car wreck than people who wear a seat belt. Why? Because if your wear your seat belt, it holds you down, in place. Without a seat belt you will fly towards the impact, often through a windshield (in a head on collision). People can be seriously injured and/or killed in a car accident. Always wear a seat belt, and drive safe. If your friends drive like jerks, than tell them to slow down, because you still want to live! I have lost many friends to car accidents, and racing accidents. I have seen many bad car wrecks. People lose body parts, get impaled, and crushed. People die of blood loss, and burn alive. People go brain dead/ get brain damaged. Some people hit their heads so hard that they lose their brains literally. Car wrecks are bad news, and serious business. Please drive safe.
