It is difficult to tell when a time travel error actually occurs as one cannot tell merely upon arrival in a different time that a mistake has been made. In fact, the act of traveling in time can so tear the time space continuum that a person can arrive in a parallel dimension. The best way to tell if a time travel error has occurred is to do the chicken dance on a daily basis to make sure that you are in the correct galaxy. If a time travel error has occurred, upon doing the chicken dance, you will witness the color leach from the surrounding environment. You can return to the correct time space only upon convincing yourself that you are not currently alone in your room playing world of war craft. You should rejoin society immediately in the sun light (thats EARTH's sun light!).

What is the difference between compile-time error and the run-time error?

A run-time is an error that occurs when the program is executing (running). This is where segfaults and other horrible things happen. A compile-time error is an error that occurs when you are compiling the code. This is where code syntax and semantics are checked. You want errors to only occur here.

Difine run time error?

run-time error definition. An error in the execution of a program which occurs at run time, as opposed to a compile-time error. A good programming language should, among other things, aim to replace run-time errors by compile-time errors.

What is the difference between runtime and compilation?

Compilation is generally the process of parsing the human-readable source code and turning it into machine-readable byte code. Runtime occurs during the execution of the byte code as a program. Examples: A compile-time error is an error that occurs while the source code is being turned into byte code. A runtime error is an error that occurs while the program is executing.
