No, salt water boils at a higher temperature than pure water, but not faster.

The temperature at which a solvent (water) boils is increased by adding any nonvolatile solute, in this case salt.

Boiling point elevation is similar to freezing point depression. It is known as a colligative property of matter. It depends on the number of particles present in a solution and not on the type or mass of the particles.

Changes in boiling point (boiling point elevation) are calculated using the Clausius-Clapeyron equation and Raoult's law.

Yes, but you eliminate the water, and leave the salt in the pot/pan. So if you want to keep the water, with no salt, then you catch the steam that comes off of the boiling pot with a plate or the lid or something, then tilt it to the side so that the steam will condense and then drip off the lid into a bowl or something. Then you'll have clean, salt free water.

What happens to the salt when boiled?

When saltwater is boiled, the water in it evaporates. If the water is boiled long enough, all the water in the saltwater will evaporate; leaving all the salt in the water at the bottom of the pot. If you can catch the evaporated water with a clear plastic then drain it, that is how they make fresh water from salt water.
